For TPO

TPO recoats require a specific primer at a specific rate to be code-compliant. GAF TPO Red Primer is required at 0.5 gal per square per Miami-Dade NOA 21-0105.10. Skip it on an HVHZ job and the HydroStop assembly is no longer NOA-approved. The red tint is functional: it shows the installer where primer has been applied on bright white TPO. For non-HVHZ projects, GAF Multi-Purpose Primer (water-based epoxy) is the bond layer. GAF Cleaning Concentrate handles substrate prep on aged TPO.
