Silicone Roof Coatings

Silicone roof coatings solve the one problem acrylic cannot: standing water. GAF High Solids Silicone is a 97% solids, moisture-cure coating warranted for ponding-water conditions, with 10-, 15-, and 20-year terms (1.5 to 2.5 gal/sq depending on substrate). It cures fast (5-minute rain resistance), bonds to metal, TPO, PVC, SPF, and asphaltic substrates, and never chalks or cracks under UV.

For asphalt substrates, pair with GAF Bleed-Block Asphalt Primer to stop oil bleed from telegraphing through. For seams and flashings, use GAF Silicone Mastic in a 3-course detail. For overcoating an existing acrylic roof, GAF Unisil II solvent-based silicone is the right pick. All shipped factory-direct from a GAF-authorized distributor.
