Why Bleed Block Asphalt Primer?
GAF Bleed-Block Asphalt Primer is
a water-based acrylic primer used
under GAF High Solids Silicone to
provide bleed blocking on asphalt
roofs.
GAF Bleed-Block Asphalt Primer is
designed for easy application with
conventional or airless spray
equipment, as well as brush or
roller.
APPROVED SUBSTRATES
New and existing asphaltic roofs.
New asphaltic roofs should be
weathered for at least 30 days.
APPLICATION: Apply by brush, roller,
or airless sprayer evenly at the rate
of 1.0 gallon per 100 ft2 for smooth
asphaltic and 1.5 gallon per 100 sq ft.
for granulated asphaltic surfaces.
