Concrete Waterproofing
Concrete is a high-pH, often damp substrate, and a coating has to bond and stay watertight through thermal cycling, water intrusion, and load. Coatings Supply carries the GAF coatings rated for waterproofing concrete across the building envelope: walls, slabs, roof decks, balconies, plazas, foundations.
For roof-deck concrete, the GAF Premium Acrylic HydroStop system over Epoxy Primer is the fully-reinforced standard, wind-uplift tested at -610 PSF. For lightweight concrete decks, NOA 23-0327.10 specifies BarrierGuard Surface Coating plus SureBond Primer before HydroStop. For below-grade waterproofing, balcony overburden, or tile-over assemblies, Surface Seal SB is the thermoplastic rubber answer. For concrete walls and masonry, GAF Bonding Primer or SureBond plus an elastomeric topcoat handles UV, water, and chalking.
